The rules governing the transportation of food are extremely strict due to the importance of preserving the safety of the product and protecting the end consumer. These agreements oblige us to use vehicles that are specially adapted for this purpose.
The ATP establishes regulations that mandate that each product has its own parameters and conditions for transport. At Ibertin S.A., we have the necessary fleet to adapt to each product:
- Refrigerated vehicles that are capable of providing cooling and keeping the trailer temperature at a constant temperature of between 12 and -20 ºC, depending on the type of vehicle.
- Heated vehicles: those that are fitted with equipment to generate heat and raise the internal temperature of the body and maintain it for at least 12 hours at a constant temperature of 12 ºC.
- Refrigerated vehicles: by means of a powerful cooling source, they reduce the temperature of the body and are able to reach and maintain temperatures as low as -20 ºC.
- Finally, isothermal vehicles that have insulating walls in order to limit the product's heat exchange between the interior and exterior of the transporting vehicle.
